Stebrick Shipping Policy
To ensure utmost transparency and provide you with accurate information regarding our shipping policies, we have prepared this document outlining how we handle shipments and delivery times.
Courier Service
All shipments are entrusted to DHL Express or a similar international express courier, recognized for reliability and prompt deliveries.
Delivery Times
Once your order is handed over to DHL, delivery typically takes 1 to 7 working days, depending on your destination. International shipments may experience longer delivery times due to customs clearance procedures.
Product Preparation Times
The time required to prepare your order before shipping depends on the specific product and is clearly displayed on the respective product page.
The quantity shown as available on each product page reflects actual stock already in our possession. However, since many of the LEGO® bricks we use are shared across multiple models, final packaging is done only after the order is placed. Each set is prepared with a double-counting procedure to ensure both accuracy and quality.
Depending on the time of year and the volume of orders in process, preparation time may vary up to 45 working days. This timeframe corresponds to approximately 63 calendar days, based solely on the conversion of 45 working days into calendar days (including weekends). Please note that national holidays, company closures and seasonal breaks are not included in this estimate and, if applicable, will extend the overall preparation time accordingly.
Pre-Orders
For all products purchased in pre-order, the preparation phase begins only after the official pre-order period has ended. The end date of the pre-order campaign, as indicated on the respective product page, is the sole reference date used to calculate all preparation and handling times.
As with standard orders, preparation times may take up to 45 working days from the end of the pre-order period. These 45 working days correspond to the effective preparation and packaging phase required to finalize your order before shipment.
Once the preparation phase is complete and your order is entrusted to the courier, delivery timelines follow the standard rules outlined in this Shipping Policy. Customers purchasing during a pre-order campaign acknowledge and accept that the pre-order closing date - not the date of purchase - is the starting point from which the preparation timeframe is calculated.
Working Days vs. Calendar Days
Preparation and delivery times refer to working days (Monday to Friday) and exclude weekends and public holidays in Italy.
Partial Shipments
If your order contains multiple products with different preparation times, we may ship them separately. In such cases, you will receive full information and tracking for each individual shipment.
Shipment Tracking
You will receive a DHL tracking code via email as soon as your package is handed over to the courier. Use this code to follow your shipment in real time.
Extra-EU Shipments
We ship worldwide. For all orders delivered outside the European Union, our financial and customs approach is clearly defined as follows:
The LEGO® bricks included in each set are provided free of charge as a complimentary addition to the main product (e.g., Digital eBook or Digital Building Instructions).
For customs and invoicing purposes, the bricks are assigned a symbolic value of EUR 20/kg, based on their net weight. This symbolic value does not reflect a commercial sale, but is declared strictly to comply with international customs regulations.
This symbolic valuation of EUR 20/kg is based on average market prices observed on platforms such as BrickLink and other LEGO® resale marketplaces, where loose bulk LEGO® bricks typically range from EUR 15 to EUR 35 per kilogram. It is a fair, conservative estimate used strictly for customs purposes and does not represent a commercial sale price or resale intent. For more details, see our full Terms and Conditions.
Example: For illustrative purposes only, a model that includes approximately 18 kg of LEGO® bricks would result in a declared customs value of EUR 360, based on the symbolic valuation. This amount may be used by customs authorities to calculate applicable import duties and taxes.
For instance, in a country where customs duties are set at 10% and import taxes at 5%, the customer may be required to pay:
EUR 36 in customs duties (10% of EUR 360)
EUR 18 in import taxes (5% of EUR 360)
Total: EUR 54 upon delivery
In some cases, Stebrick covers all duties and taxes - this will always be explicitly indicated on the respective product page and reflected on your invoice. In such cases, no additional charges will be requested from the customer upon delivery. Otherwise, all import charges remain the responsibility of the recipient.
Force Majeure
While we strive to meet the delivery times outlined above, certain unforeseen events beyond our control (force majeure) may cause delays or temporary suspension of services. Such events include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, war, acts of government, pandemics, or labor strikes. Stebrick will not be liable for delivery delays or failures caused by these circumstances, but we will endeavor to inform you of significant disruptions and resume normal service as soon as conditions allow.
Policy Updates
Our shipping policies may be updated as needed based on service changes or shipping carrier conditions. The latest version is always available on this page.
